Hey luvs, we are Mahe and Raahema. We are two cousins who, despite the geographic distance that divides us, share the same love for fashion. Between living in the Garden state, NJ and the Keystone state, PA, we come across many different people with many unique styles. We are Pakistani-Americans and while we straddle two very different cultures, we find a good balance between the two. Our sense of style is influenced by our religious background as well as our culture. We will fill you in on all the things we are loving this season.xoxo.

All about NAKED!

Hey Luvs! It's Raahema here blogging about the three Urban Decay Naked palettes! Mahe and I have already done a review on the Naked 2 palette but I just wanted to give you a little more information on all three palettes! To read our review post, click the link below. However, I do want to let you know that this is not a review post because I have not tried out the other two palettes. This post will just be a quick source of information on the palettes.

Naked 1 Palette:
The Urban Decay Naked palette is a gorgeous bronze-based palette with 12 neutral shades. The palette includes lighter, champagne colored shades such as "virgin" or "sin," as it works its way through darker, and slightly more sparkly colors like "sidecar" or "half baked." The palette also includes some purples and blues, "mustle," "creep," and "gunmetal," for a darker, nighttime look. This product also comes with a flat shader brush and features the Urban Decay travel size Primer Potion. I definitely would love to own this palette, but currently don't due to the $50 price.

Naked 2 Palette:

The Urban Decay Naked 2 palette is one that I do own. However, this product is also $50. This palette is much cooler than the Naked palette, but still features warmer shades like "snakebite" or "tease." This palette also comes with 12 beautiful colors but features more sparkly and shimmery colors than the Naked 1. This consists of shades like "bootycall," "chopper," and "ydk." It also includes some matte shades such as "tease" and "busted." One think that I really like about this palette is that it includes a pure black color. Now although I wouldn't use it as eyeshadow, this color is great if you are low on eyeliner.  The Naked 2 also comes with a double sided brush with a flat shader on one side and a blending brush on the other. In place of the primer potion in Naked 1, there is a gorgeous berry colored lip gloss (travel size).

Naked Basics:

This is the newest Naked palette, the Urban Decay Naked Basics. This palette has 6 colors instead of twelve, but is also much more affordable at $27. The soft palette includes some shades seen before in the previous palettes, such as "Foxy," but also has never before seen colors like "Venus" or "Faint." For me, I wouldn't buy this palette just because I feel like the other palettes include much more for their cost. However, if you are looking for a high-end, neutral palette, this is definitely one you should check out!

So, what do you think of the incredibly enticing "Naked" palettes? Leave your response in the comments below!
xoxo,
