Hey luvs, we are Mahe and Raahema. We are two cousins who, despite the geographic distance that divides us, share the same love for fashion. Between living in the Garden state, NJ and the Keystone state, PA, we come across many different people with many unique styles. We are Pakistani-Americans and while we straddle two very different cultures, we find a good balance between the two. Our sense of style is influenced by our religious background as well as our culture. We will fill you in on all the things we are loving this season.xoxo.

Trend to Try: the natural look!

Hey Luvs! It's Raahema here with a post about ways to neutralize and naturalize your daily beauty look!

Hair:

Achieve gorgeous, natural curls or waves by braiding wet hair and leaving it in over night! Ditch the heat and enjoy beautiful natural hair!

Face:

Skip the heavy foundation and let your skin breathe with a lighter and airier look. Just add some BB Cream and concealer and you're ready to go!

Lips:

Lastly, leave the dark lipstick for the oldies and make a splash this season with some bright, fun, and natural lip balms!

So, what do you think of my natural alternatives to your daily beauty products? Leave you response in the comments below!

Review: Victoria's Secret Blush!

Hey Luvs! It's Raahema here with a review on a blush that I recently purchased from Victoria's Secrect. Enjoy!

                                   PROS                                   CONS
                               - cute packaging                   - no brush
                               - gorgeous color                   - $9
                               - good quality

Overall, I really like this blush. It retails for about $9, which I find a little expensive but oh well. I also love the adorable heart pattern that the product comes in! I usually wear this blush to school as part of my everyday makeup routine. Although it looks bright, the blush is very wearable and much lighter on. However, it is also very buildable and great for both neutral and bright looks.

So, what do you think of this blush? Leave your response in the comments below!

SPRING NAILS!!

Hello luvs, today I am going to show you guys an easy way to make your nails stand out! You don't need any special nail kits or tools for this, you just need two different color nail polishes. Just paint nails one color; as seen in the picture I used a light turquoise blue color. Wait for them to dry and then with the other color paint half of your ring finger either horizontally, vertically or diagonal like I did. Then on the other remaining nails paint a half moon by your cuticle. I used a gorgeous silver metallic color to bring the blue color. And there you have it nails that pop. Its really simple and I hope you guys try this at home! Send me pics!

OOTD!

Hey luvs! It's raahema here with an outfit of the day post for you. Enjoy!

So for my outfit I wore this blue, pink dotted top from tjmaxx. The shirt has very cute lace collar detailing and retails for about $13. I paired the top with some hollister leggings which I cuffed at the bottom and a pair of pink wedges from Payless. The wedges retail for about $20 and if you are interested in them, then check out my most recent "spotlight shoe" post where they are feautured.
