Hey luvs, we are Mahe and Raahema. We are two cousins who, despite the geographic distance that divides us, share the same love for fashion. Between living in the Garden state, NJ and the Keystone state, PA, we come across many different people with many unique styles. We are Pakistani-Americans and while we straddle two very different cultures, we find a good balance between the two. Our sense of style is influenced by our religious background as well as our culture. We will fill you in on all the things we are loving this season.xoxo.

Fashion In Another World: Parandas

Hey Luvs! It's Raahema here, and today I have a "FIAW" post for you! Today's post will be about a Pakistani hair accesory called a "Paranda." A paranda is a decorative "rope" that you braid into your hair. They come in an array of colors and designs.

This paranda is a standard one
that you would braid
into your hair. The tassles
at the bottom add pretty detailing
to your basic braid.

Although this paranda isn't being
braided into the hair, you get
the idea of how it would look.

So, what do you think of parandas? Would you wear them? Leave your responses in the comments below!
xoxo,
Raahema
