Trend To Try: Peter Pan Collar!!!!!!

Hey Luvs! It's Raahema here, and today I am going to be talking to you about the "Peter Pan Collar" trend! This trend is definitely something new and unique that every girl can incorporate into her wardrobe. Enjoy!

This girly top from Forever21 is very cute and features the trendy collar. This shirt would be perfect to wear on a warmer day in Fall with jeans and riding boots! The top retails for about $18.

This gorgeous top from Charlotte Russe is adorned with a beautiful jeweled Peter Pan collar. Add some blingy bracelets and your ready to go for a night out! You can purchase this top for about $23.

This ruffled blouse, also from Charlotte Ruse is pretty and very girly. Wear this top with dark, straight leg jeans for a sophisticated look. This shirt costs about $23.

Review: Baby Lips!!!

Hey Luvs, it's Raahema! Today I am doing a review on the Baby Lips lip balm. This lip balm is absolutely amazing! The product comes in a variety of colors and is very moisturizing! Baby Lips also has spf 15 in it, so it protects your lips from the heat as well. My favorite color is Pink Punch but you can get many others as well. This lip balm makes your lips feel as smooth and soft as a "baby's lips." LOL! I definitely recommend this product and give it 5 stars!

Flat Irons!

Hey Luvs, it's Mahe here, today I am going to blog about a new friend that came into my life!! (haha) It is my new ceramic hair straightener!! YAY I was planning to get a new flat iron for a longest time and I finally got one! My first ever flat iron was a BioSilk one. It is a ceramic hair straightener, which was amazing until it broke!! It broke within the first year me having it, and let me tell you it was not cheap! I then had to downgrade to a fat old school conair iron that my friend gave me. I have been using the conair iron for a few years now which is not ceramic and it pulls out my hair! (ouch) 

I was at the mall about a month and a half ago when a lady came up to me from one of those little carts that are in the mall to try out the royale hot tools line. Obviously, my mom and I were trying to walk away but she just wheeled us in! I fell in love with the flat iron immediately just by the lady testing it out on me! It made my hair smooth and soft. this flat iron also can wave and curl hair. The straightener is about $250 but online it is $230. I was lucky enough to get a major discount so I got the iron for only $110 which is such a great deal! When you get the straightener you get free 5 year warranty and where I got the straightener all the girls in my family get to have there hair done for free for the rest of our lives!! 

When I got home I realized I shouldn't have gotten it right away and that I should of researched the strightener more in depth. I have been using the straighenter for a month now and I still love it! I am so happy I decided to buy it, it works incredibly well! I totally recommend it! By the way the straightener goes up to 446 degrees Fahrenheit!

Back To School: Hanna Marin!

Hey Luvs! Today, is the third installment of my back to school Pretty Little Liars series. Today I will be a post on Hanna Marin, and how she dresses in the show!

So, Hanna's sense of style is very girly and very pretty. To accomplish this I started out with a very pretty ruffled shirt from Kohls. Hanna also likes wearing skinny jeans so I added those as well. To add some detail to the look, I added some gold and silver bracelets. Hanna is also a huge fan of heels, so I finished the outfit with some lacy white ones.

Trend To Try: Scarves!!!

Hey Luvs! It's Raahema here with a post about one of my favorite accessories..........Scarves! I absolutely love scarves because I think that they are the perfect way to spice up any outfit! There are many ways to wear scarves, and they are the perfect accessories for back to school this fall!

This pretty mocha colored scarf is cute, but simple. The scarf would look great on a brisk fall day with a white shirt, skinny jeans, and tall brown boots!

This "loop scarf" is great for looking good while keeping warm. The scarf loops up around your neck and is ideal for wearing on a cold autumn day! The light pink color combined with the lace detailing makes this a very pretty piece to wear with dark jeans and lace-covered heels!

This deep purple scarf will look great for back to school! The scarf definitely adds a pop of color to any outfit without being too much for the fall season!

Lipstick Picks!!

Hey Luvs! It's Raahema here, and today I'm going to share with you, my lip gloss and lipstick picks for this upcoming season! Enjoy!

Lipstick Pick #1: Rosy Pink 

This Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lip Color in "Disco Pink," is great to wear on a casual occasion. Because of its built in shine, you don't need to wear a gloss on top. However, if you don't like wearing lipstick, you can substitute this product with a gloss in the same shade. I would also recommend applying this product lightly and blotting with a tissue to avoid an overly bright look.  You can purchase this product at any drugstore for about $6.

Lipstick Pick #2: Berry Beauty 

This Buxom Big and Healthy Lip Product is a glossy berry color. The shade is perfect for the Fall season! Go check it out at Sephora for $10!

Lipstick Pick #3: Au Naturale 

This Mac Lipstick in "Snob," is perfect to wear to school during the day. The nude pinkie color isn't too bright or too dark. To add some shine, I would apply one of Mac's dazzle glasses over top! This product retails for about $15.

OOTD: Eid!!!!

Hey Luvs! It's Raahema here to show you my Eid outfit! Mahe recently did an "Eid OOTD" post where she explained what Eid was so go check that out!

So because Eid is a more formal occasion, I wore a fancy "Shalwar Kamiz." A Shalwar Kamiz consists of the top (Kamiz) and the bottoms (shalwar). Mine was golden colored with pink and black as the accent colors. The Kamiz is also bordered in pink lace. For shoes, I was wearing golden colored Khussas (check out our Fashion In Another World post on them) but at that moment just slipped on some colorful flip flops. The outfit also included a "Dubata" which is a Pakistani version of a scarf but I wasn't wearing mine in the picture.

Back To School: Spencer Hastings!

Hey Luvs! It's Raahema here, and today is the second installment of my back to school pretty little liars series. Today I will show you how to create the perfect back to school outfit based on the character, Spencer Hastings!

Ok, so Spencer's style in Pretty Little Liars is very classy and put together. She also loves wearing collared shirts. For this look, I started off with your basic white collared shirt and skinny jeans, but then spiced it up with accessories. I paired the top with a icy pink colored belt that I would cinch at the waist. I also added the same color feather earrings from Charlotte Russe and some vintage lacy heels, also from Charlotte Russe. The belt and the earrings give some detail and add a pop of color to the look, while the shoes give a very classy feel to the whole outfit. However, I know that there are many people who don't like wearing heels to school, so if that's you, just exchange the heels for lacy, white flats!
